The ZS-D3000 drinking water electric shock experimental system is a classic animal drinking water electric shock conflict anxiety research experiment. The software controls the drinking/shock ratio, shock frequency length, measurement mode, interval recording and overall duration. Experimental principle:
There are two electrodes on the experimental cage, one is connected to the iron bar at the bottom of the cage, and the other is connected to the mouth of the sucking bottle. When the experimental animal placed in the cage sucks water, an electrical pathway is formed, and the controller records it once. The user can set the relationship between the number of times the animal sucks water and the high-voltage electric shock through the software. For example, three times of sucking water will automatically shock the animal once.
Animals under normal conditions, after being electrocuted, have an anxiety effect, and the number of sucking water is significantly reduced or zero, but animals that have been fed anxiolytic drugs will reflect a certain anti-anxiety behavior according to the drug efficacy, that is, sucking water. The degree of reduction is relatively small.
Through the experimental software, parameters such as sucking water and electric shock are set, and the efficacy of anxiolytics can be obtained by analyzing the experimental results.
